the words I wish someone had given me.

Katie qualified as a vet in 2012, collected the certificates, and still felt like she'd hoodwinked everyone. The more she achieved, the louder the doubt got - and nobody around her was talking about it. When she finally started the conversation online, tens of thousands of veterinary professionals answered: me too.

So she wrote the words down. A short, honest, gently funny keepsake full of reassurance about the tremendous skillset veterinary people carry and how valuable they are - the reminder to keep in a locker, a car, or a consult room drawer for the days that bite.

“These are the words I wish someone gave to me at the start of my career.”

the books that make the profession cry (the good kind).

I just had to say that I would love for every vet, vet nurse and actually the human medical profession to receive the words you have written in this book. We all spend our days helping others but never spend the time to help ourselves or to acknowledge the great things we do and how amazing we are.
Customer review
A lovely vet friend gifted me this book, and I cried. I think every practice should own the whole series for their staff room.
Carol, reader
I'm an RVN and I bought one of each of your books, to give as gifts to a nurse and vet that I think are amazing... thank you for making me cry while wrapping gifts.
